About this site
Who publishes this, how it is funded, what standards the content is held to, and how to tell us we have got something wrong.
Who publishes this site
drbrock.org is published by Datahouse Ventures, an independent digital publisher. It is not affiliated with Dr. Barry Brock, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, any court, or any government agency, and it is not a law firm.
No law firm currently sponsors this site. If that changes, this block will name the firm, its office address and telephone number, and carry any attorney-advertising notice California requires, before any such arrangement begins.
To reach us, use the contact form. Messages go to Datahouse Ventures and are not published. We do not sell or trade what you send, and we would not pass your details to a law firm without asking you first. See the privacy policy.
What this site is
An independent, sourced reference on the civil litigation involving Dr. Barry J. Brock and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, written primarily for the people most directly affected by it: his former patients.
It exists because the information about this case is scattered across news archives, court filings, and marketing pages, and because someone trying to work out what it means for her personally has to assemble it herself while managing a difficult subject. That seemed like a gap worth filling properly.
What this site is not
- Not affiliated with Dr. Barry Brock, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, the Medical Board of California, or any court.
- Not a law firm, and not a substitute for one. Nothing here is legal advice, and using this site does not create an attorney-client relationship with anyone.
- Not a medical or mental health service. We link to crisis and counseling resources; we do not provide care.
- Not a claim of wrongdoing. Everything described here is an allegation in pending civil litigation that has not been decided.
Editorial standards
These are the rules everything on this site is written to. They are published here so you can hold us to them.
| Rule | Why |
|---|---|
| Allegations are described as allegations, every time | These are untested civil claims. Dr. Brock has denied them. Writing otherwise would be both unfair and inaccurate. |
| Every factual claim is sourced | To court filings, the Medical Board, or major news reporting — and the sources are listed on the page, not hidden. We do not cite other marketing pages as authority. |
| Denials and institutional statements are included | A page that describes what plaintiffs allege without the response is not information, it is advocacy. |
| No graphic descriptions of alleged assaults | They serve no informational purpose for our readers and cause harm to people already carrying this. |
| No invented or composite survivor stories | Not written by us, not generated, not “illustrative.” If a survivor’s account ever appears here it will be real, consented to, and identified as such. |
| No named plaintiff who filed anonymously | Their anonymity is the point. |
| No case-value estimates or settlement predictions | Nobody can value a claim from a website. Publishing a range would be a guess dressed as guidance. |
| No manufactured urgency | The December 2027 deadline is real and we say so plainly. We do not use countdown clocks, pressure language, or exit-intent popups. |
| Pages carry a review date | So you can see how current the information is, rather than guessing. |
How this site is funded
Producing and maintaining this resource costs money, and you should know where that money comes from. Sites in this subject area are frequently funded by law firms seeking clients; where that is the case it should be stated openly rather than buried.
Our commitment: any sponsoring law firm will be named here, named in a notice at the top of every page, and identified alongside any form or contact prompt on the site — not disclosed only in a footer. If that ever stops being true, the site has broken its own standard and you should treat it accordingly.
Corrections
We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If something on this site is inaccurate, out of date, or unfair — including to Dr. Brock or to Cedars-Sinai — tell us. Substantive corrections are made promptly and noted on the page.
The case timeline is the page most likely to fall behind reality. If a filing, hearing, or ruling is missing from it, that is exactly the kind of thing worth flagging.
